To achieve happiness with the school supplies you have, identify what you think bothers you about your supplies, determine a way to change that, and establish a plan to make the change happen.

1. The Necessities

First, make a basic list that compiles all of your essentials. This not only serves as a basis for all of your supplies, but it also provides a comfort later on.

If you do not get all the supplies you wanted, then this list serves as a reminder that you still have more than enough to be successful.

And if you have too many supplies to keep track of, this list prevents you from getting overwhelmed because it reminds you that all you really need for school is 1-5 things.

It's a win-win situation.

2. The Luxuries

Now make a list of everything you think you need for school.

Before you finalize this list, wait a few hours to a few days to think over everything you wrote. We often want what the most aesthetic YouTuber has, but don't realize that we already have our own stationary that works for us. So take the time to make this a personalized list for yourself.

Keep this list simple, there is no need to make it even more luxurious by adding the products' full names. All you need to do is write everything you want in simple words that make sense to you.

3. The Reaction

Looking at your two lists, check off all the materials you plan to buy. This means that they are available, that you can afford them, and that you feel like you need them for school.

If you are able to get everything you want and you are confident for the new school year, then you are good to go! Time to put those supplies to use and start studying.

If you were not able to get all the supplies to wanted, it is important to look at the situation from a light of growth. There are several ways that everything can turn out for the better.

The materials you do have will help you will realize what you really need for school. This will not only serve as valuable guidance for choosing next year's supplies, but it will also cancel out any uncertainties you might have at the beginning of the year about which supplies you really like.

With this mindset, you will be much more confident in yourself, and you will have truly grown. In the future, you will be able to analyze what materials you really need for optimal performance, saving yourself time, energy, and money.

However, it is perfectly normal to still feel like your really need that one notebook this year, but there may be certain circumstances that are simply out of your control that prevent you from getting it.

You have all the power in your brain, that is really all you need.

If you feel like that notebook will improve your school experience, then use that brain of yours to figure out a way to get it. Get a job, make an agreement with your parents, do some thinking and reach your goal.

Nothing in life will just come to you. If you just think about your wants, they won't just show up. You have to take the first step to get there.

To achieve happiness with the school supplies you have, identify what you think bothers you about your supplies, determine a way to change that, and establish a plan to make the change happen.

Be strong enough to see your weaknesses, and be brave enough to take the initiative to make them stronger.
