How to Have an Unforgettable Summer

Hey PEOPLE ! I hope everyone is getting ready to spend an amazing summer after a good school year of commitment and hard work, we deserve this! I am one of those students who is actually struggling to find good ways to have an unforgettable summer vacation, and I know that I am not the only one going through this, as there as so many people who want to fully enjoy this summer, especially when it comes to their last high school summer, so here are some suggested ways to have a memorable time- we only live once haha!

1. Spend time with your friends and loved ones.

You have probably wanted to hang out so many times with your friends or family during the school year, but you couldn't because of an assignment you needed to finish or an exam that you needed to study hard for. But now that you are free from deadlines and exam seasons, you have to enjoy this opportunity and hang out more with your friends and loved ones and simply forget about your worries for a while and HAVE FUN!

2. Go places and take some risks , but hey be careful!

Being a teen is such an amazing thing, and summer makes it more amazing, go watch the sunset, take photos of small details, go on a road trip with your favorite playlist, wake up early to go to the beach and watch the pretty sunrise (nothing sucks more than living in a city with no beach lol but it's ok haha), go for a picnic and bring your favorite meals with you, but most importantly be careful and stay safe :)

3. Do the things you've always wanted to do and stop worrying what other people will think of you.

Go change your haircut if you feel like it, change your clothing style if you really want that, dye your hair if that is going to make you feel better- anything! Focus on what makes YOU comfortable and work on getting over people's opinions because that doesn't matter as long as you don't hurt anyone; that way you will be able to enjoy your time in a better way with less worries.

4. Read , learn , and educate yourself.

Summer is not about forgetting about our learning process. In fact, it's a very convenient period of time to learn about many things, develop and educate ourselves, work on our skills and interests and to simply keep growing and filling our lives with acknowledge. Let's remember that we're teens, and it's the right time for us to learn so so so many new things and that will make our lives so much easier and more enjoyable. After all, learning is FUN! And there are good ways to do so, you can read articles, join a youth club, read all the books you've always wanted to read, listen to podcasts, start some DIY series, learn a new sport or a dance, learn how to cook and bake, YOU CHOOSE!

5. Manage to do some summer studying if needed.

I know that it's hard to put your mind and effort into studying during summer vacation, but trust me, I have been doing that for years and it saves energy and time during the upcoming school year. Two hours a day can be more than enough for you, it's all about time management and knowing your priorities!

6. Workout!!

I am one of those students who stopped working out when exam season kicked in, that sounds unhealthy right? I know, but it's okay, use this summer time to go for early walks, practice your favorite sport, run, go to the gym, but just MOVE, as it will make you feel both physically and mentally better.

AND YESS THAT'S IT! I hope these things brought you some inspiration for your summer plans, I truly hope we will spend a good summer time because no matter what, we deserve this, we deserve a break from everything, give yourself some time to rest, to sleep peacefully without worrying about waking up with a 8 hours studying day waiting for you. That will certainly make the next year a fresh start for us all! Love you all :)
