5 Tips For Studying on Break

1. Take the First Day as a Day OFF

To be well prepared to work hard on weekends, it's better that you just relax on Friday night (If you don't have tons of work to do, in which case it might be a good idea to spend a little time studying).

Same for vacations , take the first few days just to clear up your mind, decide how you're going to study and what you have to do before the vacation ends (including your personal tasks and responsibilities).

2. Set up Your Goals for the Weekend / Vacation

This works better for vacations because they're longer so there are more tasks and studying to do! Setting up your goals for this period of time will help you stay more focused on what you have to get done.

Don't forget to put it somewhere you can see it everyday, like your bathroom mirror, because this way, you will see your progression day after day, which is really motivating!

3. Set up to do lists everyday!

This is so important!

Vacations and weekends mood is usually a lazy mood, procrastination and lack of productivity become easy things to give in to.

But setting up your to-do lists will help you study harder, just like in school days.

Checking off things you've done will also make you more motivated to do more school work each day!

4. Personalize According to What You Prefer

If you are a morning person, try to wake up early on weekends or vacations to study for a while. And if you are a night owl, like me, Saturdays and other vacation nights are perfect to stay up late and have some late-night cozy study sessions!

But don't force yourself, get some good hours of sleep.

5. Take Time for Yourself

Vacations and weekends aren't only dedicated to catch up on school work!

They are also a great chance to spend time with yourself and to do what you love and try new hobbies! Read books, spend time with your family, text your friends and hang out.

And most importantly, prioritize your mental health!
